Team Squash

The club enters teams in the local Oxfordshire winter and summer leagues. The first team is now in the First Division of the Oxfordshire League and has a particularly distinguished record and includes players of international standard such as Mark Cairns, former British champion (1997) and British Open and British Closed over-35 champion (2003).

Match nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays and updated results and league tables can be found at:-

In 1998 the club reached the finals of the Prince National Club Championship. The team were unlucky to lose their number 3 string to injury just before the event and lost 3-2 to host club Nottingham in the semi-final before defeating Chichester 4-1 in the 3rd/4th playoff.

The club has separate squash and racketball ladders which form the basis for team selection. Lady players are welcome to challenge into any of the men’s teams.
