Abingdon Squash and Racketball Club

About Our Club

Abingdon Squash and Racketball club is a member owned club, a committee is elected by the members to run the club on the members’ behalf. The committee is made up of a secretary, treasurer, chairman, club coach, bar manager and a junior representative who meet monthly to deal with club issues.

The club has strong links with the local community and works with local schools promoting the sport as well as with the local college from whom we lease the land.

Members gain access to the club via a fob which is issued to them when they join the club and is also used on the court booking console at the club in order to book courts.

The club has several teams in the Oxfordshire squash leagues and also offers very competitive monthly internal squash and racketball leagues .

On the social side several functions are organized each year for the members including world class exhibitions, circuit classes, club nights and the club now has access to one of the local schools tennis courts.

We encourage members to cycle to our club and have a secure bike shed for members to store their bikes

In October 2009 our club was awarded the ‘Silver’’ England Squash Club Charter Award .
